Michele Segal González was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1972. As a young girl, Michele exhibited great interest in Art, painting, History, and the architecture of Puerto Rico. She developed her artistic skills, particularly drawng and painting, in the Liga de Arte del Viejo San Juan (League of Art, Old San Juan).
In 1992, she enrolled at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts to study Architecture, earning a Bachelor's degree by 1997. Michele returned to Puerto Rico where she works as an Architect.
At the same time, Michele continues to develop her style as an Artist, painting works in brilliant Caribbean colors. Her themes include Vejigantes, the Three Magi, and typical houses of the Puerto Rican "campesinos".
